Thankyou for looking at our residential dog training page. Here at K9 Cops, we pride ourselfs on our successful dog training programmes. These are designed to suit your needs. Our unique service is that we only allow three dogs on to a course at any one time. The reason why we do this, is that your dog will be assigned to an individual instructor who will over see the training programme from start to finish. Prices include one hour training per week with the owner of the dog, ideally at our training facilities, but by arrangement we can travel back to your home. This is so that your dog doesn't forget his owner.

Courses that we cover on residential are as follows; General obedience training, Personal Protection dog training, all levels available. Security patrol dog training, problem dogs such as dog aggression etc. All prices include evaluation of dog, food and accommodation. We are fully insured for residential training and one to one training, copies can be viewed on request. Facilites that we have for training include; we have one 40 acre enclosed training ground with car parking and classrooms for training, full police dog agility training equipment, large outdoor sand manage. Two fully kitted dog training vehicles.

We will evaluate and collect your dog on the same day then your dog will be allocated to a individual instructor who will oversee all training from start to finish including hand over. The following training that we can provide on a residential course are as follows: general obedience training course sercurity partol  personal protection dog training course duration  4 weeks. All payments for Residential Dog Training will be collected when we collect your dog and will need to be paid in advance.

One To One

Can be done at our training school either in West Yorkshire or we can travel to you. The courses are as follows: general obedience training, personal protection dog training course, security patrol dog training and operational full patrol dog training covering all aspects of police dog training. We also cater for general problem dogs either pet or working. Prices for one to one obedience training start from £30 per session and from £35 for personal protection dog training per session at our training centre at West Yorkshire.. These prices can vary depending on what breed of dog you have. We can travel anywhere in the UK if you are unable to travel to us prices start from £800 for personal protection and security patrol dog training for 4 sessions, these prices are based on 4 hour traveling time fuel costs and additional instructors if needed once again would need to be paid in advance when booking.

Drug Detection Dog Training

We offer the following courses for proactive dogs, passive detection dogs and duel purpose dogs. We can train English/Cocker Spaniels Labradors to search and find the following drugs: heroin, cocaine, amphetamine and cannabis. Proactive dogs indicate a find by scratching the hidden place. To comply with the law our drug detection courses can only be done at our approved residential course. This course requires a UK SIA Licence or government agencies.

We are registered with 3 emergency vets and one veterinary hospital. We operate on a 24 hour training shift pattern and the dogs will be training for six days a week and will have one rest day. We train in cities, parks, busy shopping areas, country side locations next to livestock. Our obedience training prices start from £200 per week, training includes 4 hours handover training, training DVD and a training record of the progress of your dog.
